I am experienced in a wide range of private client work and have developed expertise in advising on estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, tax and wills. I am particularly skilled in will drafting, which ranges from basic to more complex (for example, advising clients on asset protection and trust arrangements). I am a qualified Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association and I have a particular interest in assisting business owners, farming and rural clients with succession planning and have developed the skills to assist with these distinct matters.
I act for a variety of clients, ranging from individuals to business owners, priding myself on my empathetic approach to each of them. I feel that this ability to empathise allows me to fully appreciate their individual and specific problems, as such modifying my advice to fit each situation. This interaction with people is at the core of my approach to the job, which allows their problems to be solved more efficiently. My clients value my honest and open approach, as I treat each and every person with the respect that I too would expect.
I am an accomplished violinist and regularly perform with various orchestras and theatre groups across Dorset. I enjoy all sports, in particular squash, badminton and football, and long walks in the countryside along with other family activities with my wife and young daughter.
I qualified as a solicitor in 2014.
