Charlotte’s mammoth 54 mile charity cycle race

Charlotte’s Mammoth 54 Mile Charity Cycle RaceOn a sunny Sunday morning as most people still slept over 2,000 cyclists were preparing to cycle the 54 miles from Clapham Common to Brighton Pier.  Among them was our very own conveyancing solicitor Charlotte and her partner Stewart.

The annual charity event sees riders cycling for their chosen charity on a hilly road route.  Charlotte was cycling to raise funds for Girl Guiding and Stewart was cycling to raise funds for CALM (a male suicide charity).

Charlotte and Stewart completed the ride in 8 hours and 10 minutes (officially) although this includes water stops (of which there were many), lunch stop and a 45ish minute stop for a road closure when 2 cyclists collided!

At the date of this article Charlotte and Stewart had raised £160 but the fundraising pages remain active.
