Rutters Solicitors Return to Sturminster Newton

Duncan Weir and Matthew Billingsley joining Rutters Solicitors Dorset new Sturminster Newton office

We are proud to confirm that our new office in Sturminster Newton has opened. We have a long history of serving the North Dorset community dating back to 1837. We believe the opening of our new office is a key step in bolstering the services we offer across the region.

Partner Duncan Weir said “Rutters always used to have an office in Sturminster Newton but left over a decade ago. We have many existing clients in the area and we feel it is a great opportunity to return to continue to grow the business in the region and offer our existing clients an office more local to them”.

We also welcome back Matthew Billingsley, who will be heading up the team at the new office. Duncan went on to say, “We are very lucky to have Matt coming back to work for us. Solicitors of his calibre are hard to find in rural practice”. Matthew is a qualified Fellow of the Agricultural Law Association and has a wealth of experience in the Private Client sector and is delighted to be returning to Rutters in order to strengthen the already experienced team: “I am delighted to be re-joining the team at such an exciting time and looking forward to helping the local community with their legal needs”. Matthew has widespread experience in estate administration, wills, trusts, inheritance tax mitigation and partnership agreements particularly farming partnerships.

Our new office can be found at Market Square House, Sturminster Newton by The Exchange, and we invite you to drop in and meet Matthew and the team, who will all be delighted to meet you.
